Whooohoo!! it’s finally time for all things green, rainbowy, and lucky! I love this springy time of year, full of little leprechauns, rainbows, and SO many fun activities to learn with!
So, to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and share some fun, I collected a BUNCH of FREE St. Patrick’s Day themed activities from some other teachers and mamas for us to use….how lucky! Click the title of each freebie to download your own copy of the resource. Here we go!
1. St. Patrick's Day Interactive Worksheets
Looking for an easy way to incorporate St. Patrick's Day into your little ones’ learning times? This free sample of printable activities are interactive, engaging, AND no-prep! Just print them out and get started with the fun. There are 3 printable worksheets included here and they’re perfect for practicing a variety of math and literacy skills that preschoolers and kindergarteners need to master.
2. Lucky Charms St. Patrick's Day Counting Sensory Bin
Need a FREE, hands-on Lucky Charms activity? This one is perfect for your learners to practice counting and number recognition this St.Patrick's Day! This activity is an engaging way to practice counting, identifying, and writing numbers 1-10 with preschool and kindergarten students.
There are 10 small cards with Lucky Charms in a bowl and one large mat to match them to. Students will choose a small card, count the charms in the bowl, and match it to the same number on the large mat. One recording sheet to write the numbers on is included.

Graphing is a great skill to introduce at a young age! So, as your students look over the St Patrick's Day I Spy pictures to find and count the characters, they’re also practicing visual discrimination, comparing, 1 to 1 counting, tally marks, writing numbers, and graphing too! They’re also getting practice paying attention to details and problem solving as they figure out ways to keep track of what they have counted. Grab these fun graphing activities for your students!
6. St. Patrick's Day Rainbow Craft
Yay!! A RAINBOW CRAFT!! This is the perfect activity for young learners to build fine motor skills, support color identification, and get creative too! This simple freebie could be used with preschoolers, kindergarteners, or any primary special education classroom to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year.

13. St. Patrick's Day Emergent Reader
This freebie is sure to engage your students in reading this St. Patrick's Day with some super fun cutting and pasting action! This emergent reader offers choices for students and opportunities to build independence as they create their own St. Patrick's Day emergent reader.
Kiddos will choose images from the "cut and paste pictures" page, cut them out, and glue them on each page of their emergent reader to complete the sight word sentence "I see the ___." Then, they’ll practice reading their newly created book as they use the tracking dots to help them with 1:1 word correspondence too. Add some color to their book and you’re all set!
