If you're looking for a new way for students to identify beginning and ending sounds, check out these clip cards and color recording worksheets! They're great for literacy centers or small group review as students identify the beginning or ending sounds of pictures on cards and worksheets.

There are 15 cards with pictures that correspond with 15 boxes on each worksheet. Students will use clothespins to clip onto the correct sound (either beginning or ending) and then show their work by coloring in the same letter on their recording sheet. There are 4 sets of cards that correspond with 4 beginning sounds worksheets and 4 ending sounds worksheets. Students can color the worksheets, use paint dabbers, or even cover the correct sounds with manipulatives!
