Looking for some hands-on activities for your learners to practice shapes? These activities and sensory bins are spring bug-themed and perfect for your little learners!

This resource currently includes 4 different activities using the bug shapes. These activities are great for toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and other little ones who are practicing their shape skills.

The following activities are included in this resource:

1. Bugs in a Jar Matching (Students choose a small card with a bug shape on it and match it to the same bug shape or shape word on a bug-catching jar.)

2. Bug Shape Matching (Students choose a small card with a bug shape on it and match it to the same bug shape or shape word on a larger mat.)

3. Bug Shape Words Write the Room (Students write the shape words ON the laminated cards and/or write the color words on the recording sheet.)

4. Bug Play Dough Mats (Students will choose a dough mat and matching colors of play dough to create the bug designs/pictures.)

The resource includes activities for:

- Circle

- Rhombus (upright and sideways)

- Heart

- Octagon

- Oval

- Rectangle

- Hexagon

- Crescent

- Parallelogram

- Square

- Star

- Pentagon

- Trapezoid

- Triangle
