Summer is almost here! Snag these TEKS-aligned worksheets for your first graders to work on for the rest of the year! These printables are a fun, engaging way to review concepts you've already learned or to add to your normal curriculum as extra practice! They can be used as homework, sub plans, centers, or small group review.

Each worksheet is aligned to a first grade math or literacy standard (TEKS) that is included at the bottom of the page. These no-prep activities are a great way to incorporate some summer fun into your students' learning! Great activities for April, May, or June!

First Grade Literacy TEKS:
2.A - Generate rhyming words

2.E - Isolate initial, medial, and final sounds

3.Aiv - Decode words with digraphs (th, sh, ph, ch, wh, kn)

3.Av - Decode words including vowel digraphs including oo as in foot, oo as in moon, ea as in eat, ea as in bread, ee, ow as in how, ow as in snow, ou as in out, ay,ai, aw, au, ew, oa, ie as in chief, ie as in pie, and -igh

3.B - Combine sounds from letters and common spelling patterns to create words

3.G - Identify and read contractions

3.H - Identify and read high-frequency words

6.A - Identify words that name actions (verbs) and words that name persons, places, or things (nouns)

6.E - Alphabetize a series of words to the first or second letter

19.A - Write brief compositions about topics of interest to the student

First Grade Math TEKS:
2.D - Generate numbers greater and less than a whole number up to 120

2.F - Order whole numbers up to 120 using place value and number lines 

3.B - Solve word problems with missing numbers in any position

3.D - apply basic fact strategies to add and subtract within 20

3.F - Generate and solve word problems from number sentence adding and subtracting up to 20

4.C - Determine value of a collection of coins
5.E - understand that the equal sign represents a relationship where expressions on each side represent the same value

5.G - apply properties of operations to add and subtract two and three numbers

6.C - Create 2-dimensional shapes

8.B - Use data to create bar graphs
